About you

You are an experienced Field Service Engineer within the subsea oil & gas sector, preferably with experience within intervention operations, with international experience. You are eager to travel wherever Optime have Service assignment, mainly in Norway, but also in the USA, Nigeria and Britain. You are self-going and will contribute to growing our service organization through your technical knowledge and operational experience. You will work closely with a team of experienced personnel, and under the guidance of the operations supervisor the Service Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, testing and operation of Optime equipment during offshore operations.

Your Mission

• Responsible for Optime Subsea equipment during offshore operations. This includes operation of the equipment, testing, maintenance, repairs and other tasks related to in-field operation of Optime equipment
• Responsible for executing work related to mobilization and de-mobilization of Optime equipment
• Responsible for executing work such as testing, maintenance, modifications, repairs and upgrades on Optime equipment in between offshore operations
• Close cooperation with the Services Engineering Support team
• Review of procedures, drawings and schematics
• International travel to all Optime locations for on- and offshore will be required

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years offshore experience
• Working product and operational knowledge in subsea equipment with extensive experience in working on electrical and hydraulic control systems
• Good knowledge of subsea oil and gas equipment
• Good at cooperative skills
• Good communication skills both orally and in writing

Key Personal Qualities

• You are used to working in diverse teams both onshore and offshore
• You have international experience from offshore Oil & Gas
• You can plan ahead and work independently

Your Mission

As a Project Engineer Software in Optime Subsea, you will be part of multi-phased technology innovation projects, taking part in all life-cycle phases of innovative products. You will step into a high-paced environment and be expected to work iteratively – producing high-quality results as you go.

– You will be responsible for requirement definition and verification within Software Engineering.
– You will work in Optime’s proprietary control system suite, CW
– You will be responsible for developing back- and front-end HMI solutions to control systems
– You will be responsible for relevant documentation (Network topologies, I/O lists, test procedures etc.)
– You will be responsible for verification and validation of software, both in a lab environment and during system commissioning.
– Work in a multi-disciplinary team throughout a system life-cycle to ensure smooth integration and commissioning.

Key Requirements

– Higher education required. Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field is a minimum requirement
– Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
– Knowledge of relevant CAD-tools (AutoCAD, Siemens Diagramming etc.)
